1. is the process of healing, it can be both on a physical level as well as a psychological/emotional level. 2. is the process of wounding, people, places, events, actions and reactions all have the potential of wounding us, but what's even more powerful is we all have the ability to heal.
There is a place where we all meet, the U.S. has a physical place where four places meet. This is a representation of that meeting ground and my relation to each of the four places.
Obsidian is a mineral found beneath Earth's surface. It is jet black and very beautiful. It also happens to be the name of a very beautiful song. Typography was incorporated to capture the rhythms of the song and imagery was used to capture the essence of the mineral.
