Chef Corey Lee is a trailblazer in San Francisco's food scene with his three-Michelin-star restaurant Benu and In Situ at SFMoMA. When he's not wowing diners with his innovative dishes, he's finding inspiration, amazing food, and a little Zen throughout Northern California's diverse landscape. Below, he reveals where to find the most luxurious getaways and experiences in the Golden State.

Longtime couple Sabrina Buell and Yves Behar have uniquely defined creativity in San Francisco through their individual pursuits. As an art consultant, Buell advises wealthy investors on buying art, but also connects clients with local museums and institutions to create what she describes as "a more vibrant cultural community." Behar, meanwhile, has created innovative consumer products through his firm Fused Project that have successfully married beauty and function, including the portable Jawbone Jambox speaker. The couple and their four kids split their time between SFs art and design scene and West Marin's relaxed outdoors. Between catching waves and dining at the most exclusive Michelin starred restaurants, the couple share their ultimate California indulgences below.

Malibu native Jennifer Meyer uses her California surroundings as inspiration for her eponymous fine jewelry line, a whimsical collection carefree enough to wear with jeans and a t-shirt on the beach, but luxe enough to pair with a gown for the red carpet. When she's not sketching new designs in her Los Angeles studio, she's relaxing with her two kids in Malibu, or enjoying spa-like getaways in nearby Palm Springs or Big Sur. "My idea of luxury is pure relaxation and comfort. It's unpretentious even when you're being pampered," she explains. Below, Meyer recommends five unexpected Golden State locales to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness California has to offer.

Singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc has enjoyed a multidimensional music career, collaborating with artists from ‘70s rock band Chicago to electronic DJ Aviici, with whom he co-produced 2013's smash "Wake Me Up." The lauded musician—he's been nominated for both a Grammy and two Brit Awards—father of two and Orange County native finds musical inspiration from both the chaos and calmness of California. Here, he reveals where he indulges in California's most luxurious offerings when he's not creating chart-topping tunes.
