High self-esteem leads to one’s happiness and if having a fit body raise people’s confidence, that is absolutely great. However, people started to judge others by their appearance, and women tend to suffer more from the pressure that they need to fit themselves into a frame made by the media and society. It is sad how higher expectations lies upon women than men so i wanted to create this work. I firstly chose bright colours to tell women that they are beautiful just the way they are. Also, the two-colour characteristic of the the work presents different body shapes. Then, I inserted words and quotes to plead on other women as a girl and to the society.

This work is about how society influences women to fit into a frame that does not necessarily show their true identity. 

우선 겉으로 봤을때 이 작품의 첫인상이 나는 예쁘고 비주얼적으로 사람들에게 어필하기를 바란다. 그후 좀더 자세히 들여다 보았을때 내가 넣은 글귀나 단어들을 통해서 내가 표현하고싶은 여성의 몸에 대한 메세지를 전하자 생각했다. 우선 ‘don’t judge me’라는 문구와 woman의 a를 e로 바꿔 한명이 아니라 모든 여성이 바디타입으로 평가받는 세상을 꼬집었다. 허리에 파란 띠에 쓰여있는 ‘perfect body goal’에서는 goal의 o 위에 N을 붙여 no라고 답하기도 했다.또한 반대로 자신들을 미디어가 만든 틀에 맞춰가려고 하는 여성들에게도 이에 대해 ‘you know who you are’ 라 호소했다. 
그리고 하나 이상의 뜻이 내재되어있는, 미디어가 소위 말하는 완벽한 몸과 평평한 몸, 그리고 배가 튀어나온 여성의 몸까지 보는대로 여러모습으로 비춰질수 있게 함으로서 어떤 모습이던 아름답고 자기 자신을 있는그대로 사랑해야 한다는 것을 내비췄다.
