The goal of second year studio was to design a cafe and urban garden that could be integrated into the fabric of the Chinatown District in Washington, DC. Currently, there is an existing void on the 9th Street elevation. he task was to use the context of the existing fabric layered within the city to aid in the repair of this void. This project invokes the work of Piet Mondrian and establishes a cafe and a garden.
