Before I joined, Bluw had released a series of card games called "Power Cards" that were base loosely on Top Trumps but with more adult-appealing novelty themes. The 2 most successful designs, Geek-Power and Chav-Cars-Power had both suffered legal issues as the original images were not sourced from a photo stock library by the freelancer designer. It was therefore necessary to reproduce the artwork for all the cards and both packs.

Artwork above left shows the Chav Cars Power card artwork with bleed, but before the card title text was added. The artwork on the right shows the Chav Cars Power card artwork with the die-cut mask applied to remove the bleed for proof reading and internal approval.
