This project, a collaboration with visiting designers Andy Chen and Waqas Jawaid, was a poster campaign featuring two perspectives on the same topic. I challenged myself to express dissenting opinions about Obamacare.
I researched an article from the NYTimes about women who voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 elective. There were many reasons, such as decreasing taxes, reforming Medicaid, and providing more jobs. A woman quoted in the article was excited about abolishing Obamacare. However, I also observed others who benefited from universal healthcare, so I decided to create two posters, each with a positive or negative point about Obamacare. I used typography to enhance the quotes from real Americans.
