Memory Book

Memory is like a picture pieced by fragments of subjectivity, and it will be continuously revised by time. It does not represent the truth. Instead, it is constituted by the ambiguity of imagination and reality.

Each layer of the book represents the segment of memory, and it forms as a picture when the layers gather together. In terms of image, a desolate landscape shows the fading of memory, and a dead tree represents the nerve failing to retrieve memory. The text on the translucent papers communicates  memory loss. The last layer drilled with holes provides light to go through the book, producing the property of time when open and close the book.
