The purpose of this project is to focus on the insight from the site. Arlington elementary school is located on West Rogers Ave, and there is unused green space next to the main entrance of school. All the pathways in front of school make triangular shapes and specific directions in a grid system. The unused green space is used as a mobile library bus stop at the request of school. To make more dynamic landscape for children, I designed different levels of ground. The site is 42 inches lower than ground, so a library bus goes into the site through a ramp. There are stairs and ramps near to the main pathways which most students use frequently. The dock for the disabled is also near to the main pathways.
