Personal Timeline- Data Visualization
For the inspiring artist assignment in the class ART 649- Creative approaches to Interaction Design, I created this novel design to represent Toshio Iwai's (Interactive Artist) personal timeline. The problem with the current popular horizontal timeline is that it needs a lot of wide space to fit it large information. Instead, using a semicircular technique with categories as legends could solve the space problem while increasing user's engagement. One can even visualize their Linkedin profile using this type of data viz technique! (Food for thought :))
