I grew up in the Middle East and was inspired by their tea culture as well as geometric and traditional architecture. I took some of my favourite tea flavours from around the globe, mostly flowering teas and began sketching some of the elements. Whilst sketching the flowers I noticed the repetitive and almost geometric shapes. It reminded me of Arabic lanterns and this lead to my design choice of creating kaleidoscopic mandala patterns for each of the flavours.
