MONA'S CAT
'Mona's Cat'
(An adaptation of Aslan appearing as a cat in present day England)

Story concept behind this illustration:

A  very large replica of the Mona Lisa is being displayed in a room of a mansion.  In an alternate painting of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, the artist has added an oversized orange tabby entwined in the woman's arms. The huge cat begins to come to life and attempts to free himself from Mona's grasp.  As his hind legs and tail exit the painting, the local inhabitants watch and wait in anticipation of his full release.
