The Zentangle brochure was prompted by a Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) assignment: Design a 7-page book project. When I found out that “Zentangle” was a term used to describe stress-relieving, beautiful structured patterns, I immediately decided it would be my book topic. The end result—a hand-crafted accordion book, accentuated with oriental paper to reflect the true meaning of “Zentangle.”
