A story written and drawn by me for BRACE. 

It seems that feeling lost is a part of our nature as well as the reason behind our motivation to move forward.

 It fuels that desire to seek a stable point to grab on to. This point of security could take different forms such as a place, person, mone, memory.

 Sometimes we find it  or we convince ourselves that we’ve found it. An illusion that puts us in a self-made cage. Like a fish that decides to live in an aquarium, because it’s safer than to go with the flow. 

And, yes, the flow is scary. You never know where it can take you, but staying at one place, sometimes, is even scarier.

The cage of your choice could be seen as a firm restriction that keeps us from growing bigger , but is also a fragile one. One that will break some day and when that happens we will fall yet again into the frighting flow of life. That day will bring us back to our true nature.
