The "mother" Mandrake is periodically at rest below her mobile. In communication with their movement, she watches them sway, spins them, and stills them with her hand. She weaves among them, making eye contact with viewers. The performance has no clear beginning or end. 
Each Mandrake is sculpted out of nylon pantyhose, twigs, and dried leaves. Some contain dried grass, flower petals, tea leaves and natural felt dyed with tea and spices. They hang from a structure made of weathered branches.
