Type Specimen Poster
For this project, the brief was to create a poster about one typeface. I chose the typeface Walbaulm. Dubbed the most beautiful specimen of German Modern face, Justuce Erich Walbaum’s design is not only attractive but also versatile. Ranked one of the great European Romantic designers, J.E Walbaum cut the typeface at Goslar and Weimar early in the 19th century. The typeface resembles aspects of Bondoni and Didot in its clear structure and simple forms.
