SWEEEEET SWEEEEET project!
So two weeks ago me and a classmate of mine (Felicia Popescu) just finished college courses for the day and we were just leavining the building as a tall man came out and aproached us asking "do you guys know how to draw?". We immediately answered YES but we were really confused as to why is he asking.
Then he continued to say: " I just opened a doughnut shop down the street and I need someone who can draw with chalk on a blackboard, it's a sign I want to display on the street. Can you help me?"
So we ended up drawing this cutie after we talked a bit about what he wanted on there.
AND WE WERE REWARDED WITH DONUTS!:)
He liked what we did so we ended up drawing the Menu on the blackboard paint covered walls. We had so much fun figuring out where everything should go and all the names of the donuts. He let us do our thing from the beginning to the end claiming that artists should be let "free" to create. We, coming from a domain like graphic design, were not used to people like that, so that was a new experience.
In our discutions with the owner, we told him that we thought the outside was a little to blank, so we got a paint based marker and had a go with it.
And because every business has to go online we did a photoshot for the doughnuts.
And a digital menu.
