The New Babylon project was based around a mock exhibition for the dutch painter, artist and architect Constant Nieuwenhuys. I based my promotional material for the exhibition around his project New Babylon, a concept for an ever changeable anti capitalist city/structure. The theme of constant movement and change, helped inform the design of my publication, with a loose leaf binding, the order of the catalogue could be moved around and changed as the viewer wished, and then re-bound when placed between the front and back cover, and bound together with an elastic band. The colour scheme is urban and industrial with blacks greys and blues, keeping the visual identity quite stripped back.
