I worked on this book as part of a group project to design a book based on John Ruskin's work on architecture The Stones of Venice. As a group, we selected excerpts from Ruskin, developed a a theme for our book, which we called Building Blocks, and designed the book layout. The book was illustrated with posters designed by our classmates.

I designed the cover and inside covers based on the idea of building blocks. Because the book was about architecture, I wanted to design something with a physical, dimensional quality. The final cover image was created with cut paper, that references both the architectural theme and the book format.
