Il cuore velato

Ogni anno il Comune di Guidonia Montecelio indice un concorso di pittura rivolto alle sole donne.

Il 2013 è stato l'anno in cui il Comune si è battuto di più sulla tematica della "violenza sulle donne", curato in particolare dall' Area VIII e dalle Pari Opportunità.

Il Cuore Velato è un ritratto ispirato alle tante storie di donne che subiscono violenza da parte di uomini, che sono state trasfigurate con l'acido per non essere accettate o desiderate da altri uomini o dalla società, uomini che colpiscono l'onore delle donne, il corpo delle donne nella sua sacralità e nella sua identità, uomini che distruggono anche l'anima e i cuore delle donne, un anima che viene velata dal dolore.

Da questo pensiero nasce il titolo "Il Cuore Velato" che vuole essere una metafora sul dolore che vela il cuore, cioè l'anima, di quelle donne che hanno perso la speranza, la dignità, l'onore, l'identità, la forza, l'amore stesso di qualcuno di caro o di un figlio.

Mi sono ispirata anche ad alcuni ritratti di donna di Steve Mc Curry, sopratutto a quegli sguardi impauriti e fuggitivi tipici delle donne dei paesi indiani.

Ho scelto il bianco e nero perchè desse più drammaticità all'opera.

2013 was the year in which the municipality has fought more on the theme of " violence against women" , with attention to detail from ' Area VIII and Equal Opportunities.

Il Cuore Velato is a portrait inspired by the many stories of women who experience violence from men , who have been transfigured with acid to be accepted or not you want other men or society , men that affect the honor of women , women's bodies in its sacredness and identity , men who destroy the soul and the hearts of women , a soul that is veiled by pain.
From this thought comes the title " The Veiled Heart " who wants to be a metaphor for the pain which veils the heart, that is the soul of those women who have lost hope , dignity , honor , identity , strength, , the same love for someone dear or a child .

I was inspired to some portraits of women by Steve McCurry , especially in those looks frightened fugitives and typical of the countries of the Indian women .

I chose to paint in black and white because it would give more dramatic work.
