In January 2017, I visited renowned photo book publisher, Steidl, in Göttingen, Germany, to work on the book project that was awarded the Steidl Book Award Asia (more details soon!). During my trip there, I worked with the other artists and designers to firm up the editing and the design of my book. The book will be launched sometime in July 2017.
While I was there, I also visited Berlin and Stockholm, Sweden, with my friend, Karolina, whom I met on my overseas exchange in 2014.
A fellow artist asked me, "Why did you bring such a heavy camera?" My response, "Because I enjoy using this camera. I enjoy making photos just for fun."
