LAYOUT - ZINE

This is a personalized Zine for my grandfather. He is a multi-talented man and attempted to convey that in the content that I presented here. Some of his interests include baseball, art, and dancing which were the categories I broke the Zine in to. The entire layout was formatted like the pictures that pop out of a wallet. The main part of the wallet is the cover which holds the inner pages. On the cover are his initials and the inside provides a mock ID and the table of contents for the flip out Zine. When opened the pages fall out. On the back is a description of his life events and other instances pertaining to his hobbies. On the flip side are images that relate to the stories. This was a semester long project and I had a lot of fun with it because it was for someone close to me. It was a good tool for practicing with a dye-line and the overall layout of more complicated pieces.
