This book collects some visual influences on me. All the categories I found are related to each other, all of them shaped me as an individual. Learning calligraphy was the most important decision I made, so the collections are centered on calligraphy. Good calligraphy requires plenty of factors. This book explores the relations between Chinese calligraphy and design. The book is divided into three chapters. First chapter is Structure, the second one is Zen & White and the final chapter is Humor. I named the book SIGMA, because it is a mathematics symbol meaning summarization, all these visual influences have impact on me, make me who I am right now, and of course, I designed the Σ on the cover in a Chinese calligraphy way, as an echo with the content and subject.
