An illustrated book of stories by Woody Allen. By its title or content this book is swerving from traditional book production and I wanted to point this out by the untraditional shape of the book. The format is pentagonal so when placed on a bookshelf the book will protrude from the row of books. This unusual shape also provide an ability to stay opened on its own in an ideal angle for reading. Illustrations are simple, linear and geometric so they are linked to the shape of the book. Also they communicate well with the different genres of the stories. I've tried to apply the humour of the stories in the illustrations and some of them are almost absurd.

Ilustrovaná kniha povídek od Woodyho Allena. Kniha, jak už svým názvem, tak i obsahem, vybočuje z toho, co by se dalo nazvat běžnou knižní tvorbou, a proto jsem chtěla na tuto skutečnost poukázat i netradičním tvarem knihy. Formát je pětiúhelníkový a je vytvořen tak, aby při zasunutí do knihovny hřbet stále vybočoval z řady úhledně uspořádaných knih. Zvláštní tvar knihy také umožnuje, aby stabilně stála otevřená pod úhlem, který je ideální pro čtení. Ilustrace jsou jednoduché, lineární a geometrizované a navazují tak na polygonový tvar knihy, zároveň dobře komunikují s rozdílnými žánry povídek. Snažila jsem se navázat na vtip textů a některé z ilustrací mají až absurdní obsah.
