Portraits - Oil Paintings

Portraits
Pieces of my mastery diploma "A portrait and a story".
Uncle
First picture from the "Siblings" series, oil on canvas, 80x40 cm, 2010.
Part of a set of realistic portraits of my mother and her two brothers showing differences in their personalities using the backgrounds. At the same time allowing viewers for personal interpretation treating people on the pictures as characters in a private story.
Aunties Portrait
Oil on canvas, 70x60 cm, 2010.
Unfortunately I never had time to 'finish off' my auntie. :)
Grandma
Oil on canvas, 50x40 cm, 2007.
A first portrait I ever painted.
The task was: "Portrait of old and young woman."
My grandma was very patient with me since I don't paint using photos but people :)

Klaudia
Oil on canvas, 50x40 cm, 2007.
A second portrait I ever painted.
The task was: "Portrait of old and young woman."
It was very difficult. I didn't really manage to catch her full beauty still I was very proud :)
Aleksandra
Oil on canvas,73x60 cm, 2009.
Mark
Oil on canvas,120x80 cm, 2009.
Maria
Oil on canvas,70x80 cm, 2009.
"From Organization" group
I painted three people. None of them knew the other. I shown them exactly as they were, but I stylized the portraits following the requirements of imaginary Organization that orders they workers to be paint in a specific fashion. (Similar to the portraits of judges in Franz Kafka "The Trial"). The spectator may imagine him/herself what type of organization is it and what roles does people on the portraits have creating his/her own tale about them. They key is a leaf symbol on every portrait but interpretation is free. The portraits should be presented beside each other.
Marzena
Oil on canvas,50x50 cm, 2009.
A girl painted "live" with intentional stylization in a direction of a character that could be a part of a tale.
Focusing on the eyes, witch are always the most important factor for me.
