The Physiognomy of the Hand

This book was created for the ISTD competition where the brief was to select a book based on our birthday in the Dewey Decimal Classification System and celebrate the book in a form.
Example; my birthday being 13/08/1996, my assigned number was ‘130.896’, so my book had to be assigned that classification number, or the next closest number.
My assigned book was then ‘Palmistry: The Art of Reading Hands’ by Jean-Michel Morgan. I then decided to celebrate this book by creating a second edition of it that elaborated on a certain chapter in the original book, titled ‘The Physiognomy of the Hand’, which focused on what certain hand shapes said about one’s personality. The outcome was a selection of photography I had taken myself of various hand shapes.
