This is may very first time working on a digital painting in gray scale process. I used Adobe Photoshop CS6 for this project.

Basically this is my initial colored output for this project. I actually watched Artgems process and lecture in coloring digital painting from Gray scale. I applied some of his methods and the rest is on my own Avant-Garde.

And so I made some final adjustments on the saturation and tone and value of the painting, added some sketchy blue background and informal ugly writing as my greeting to my sister! I promised her that I will make her next painting lighter than the original.
