I recently shared an article about the subscription economy http://bit.ly/2q3j4iz that in my opinion, pointed to the single most important ingredient that will make a subscription business a success - or not. The following paragraph speaks for itself.

"Today it all comes down to the customer. A focus on the customer, rather than the technology or the product or the transaction, is the force that drives the subscription economy. To succeed with a subscription model, businesses must serve their customers, understand their needs, and keep them happy over time. A deep and intimate knowledge about customers is key. Subscriptions mean relationships, and those relationships must continue to develop in order for businesses to grow and make money."

Couple the above with this report’s findings http://bit.ly/2qvBzyQ that a vast majority of Subscription Businesses (84%) are struggling to acquire new customers.

Seems to me the intersection of these two articles leads to aligning with an organization that: 1) Understands firsthand that it is all about the customer and how the intricacies of the recurring revenue/subscription model can impact that relationship and 2) Knows how to acquire new customers at scale, that meet ROI objectives thus moving the needle.
