Project: Create samples of fabrics by using the techniques of weaving, knitting and crochet. Work on a theme and make applications for each sample.

Each sample is inspired by one winx fairy. An application (roughly sketched) is made for the samples.

1st sample: Inspired by Flora, the fairy of flowers and nature. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume and flower motif.

2nd sample: Inspired by Layla, fairy of waves. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume and the pattern is irregular just like the waves.

3rd sample: Inspired by Bloom, fairy of the dragon flame. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume and the design is taken from her fairy dust symbol which is a heart.

4th sample: Inspired from Stella, fairy of the sun and moon. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume. The circles in the design represent the sun and moon and the star is the symbol of her fairy dust.

5th sample: Inspired by Tecna, fairy of technology. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume. Used electric yarn to represent technology.

6th sample: Inspired by Musa, fairy of sound and music. Used the same colour scheme as her fairy costume.
