Hyundai Australia brand refresh and visual identity

Hyundai Australia were rapidly ascending into the ‘respected car’ status – earning multiple awards for being Australia’s most loved car and most innovative car brand. Their identity however struggled to portray this.

Hyundai’s new brand identity is based on the idea of ‘duality’ – that is contrasting personas that compliment the car. For example the SUV Tucson – it’s duality was ‘Strong + Beautiful’.

Hyundai’s identity was revived in order to shift into the first division of automotive brands in Australia. An edgier and sleek look and feel, a bespoke graphic device and strong typographic style helped elevate their visual profile to further transform Australia’s most loved car brand.
