Pet Adoption Deliverables | Baltimore Humane Society

Baltimore Humane Society:
Adoption Posters
For the adoption posters, I chose photos of each of the animals they have and chose to use that as a background image. I wanted the photos to stand out and to show that you shouldn't "shop" for pets - you should adopt pets. For example, if a child gets a puppy or kitten for Christmas, the animal might be returned a few months later because the family does not have "time." My posters convey that a pet is long term - not short term so it is important that you weigh the factors in getting a pet.

I wanted to create the typography simple and clean to draw attention to the "Adopt Don't Shop" and the photography of the animals.

Baltimore Humane Society:
Adoption Brochure
I designed a brochure with the same color palette and imagery as the posters & magazine to make all the prints together. One thing I noticed about their current brochure was that it was VERY text heavy. Although, they wanted to keep most of the text I organized all the text to create hierarchy. I included bullet points, tables, and pull quotes to make the brochure easy to read. I also included a wide range of photography because they have many types of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
