- THE BURGER JOINT -
This project aims at creating a food brand from a non-food brand. The brief was to select a brand, which in this case Harley Davidson was chosen, and redesign it into a suitable food take-away shop. The food brand had to be chosen in such a manner that it would represent the chosen brand. The site for the shop was provided and was expected to be transformed into a space with good spatial values and branding qualities.
- DESIGN & RENDERS -
The inspiration behind the design was found from Harley Davidson’s Motorcycle shop in Pretoria. The aim was to create a store which would attract the typical biker, and therefore burgers was the type of food chosen due to its connection to manliness. The style of the design that was implemented is known as industrial design, creating a space that would accommodate for the target market as well as the overall public. The colours, materials, lighting and furniture was chosen specifically to accommodate the brand style of Harley Davidson.
