The SPCA wanted a new way to stimulate their adoption drive without spending much money as they didn't have any. 
Social media seemed like the perfect solution. With so many of us having online friends we barely know, we asked people to make a real friend and adopt the animal they had "friended" through Facebook and Twitter. The campaign was a huge success and the SPCA nearly ran out of animals, it was also recognised at Axis that year.
