I create this entry to enter the online competition held by Adobe — Adobe 5th Scream Contest. The brushes I used are digital Munch brushes created by Kyle, based on the Edvard Munch' brushes in real world. More detail can be found here: https://www.adobe.com/uk/events/hidden-treasures.html 

For Munch's Scream, everyone can feel the power from the screaming which even twisted his body. The distorted sky and landscape all convey his crazy feeling at that moment, which is the reason why it is so impressive for many people when they first saw this painting. 

However, for me, an architectural student, who have been dealing with space and human activities for three years, I found that Munch's screaming does not have effects on the surrounding constructed features, like bridge and building. Therefore, I want to express the screaming in a more exaggerated way, of which the power twisted everything.

Actually, the scene that I painted in Photoshop was inspired by my one of my crazy dreams. I dreamed that after I confessed to a pastor, I ran out from church. I scream and lose my mind. I want to escape from the space that trapped me but I cannot. The whole world starts to twist and all the structures become dynamic, which makes me dizzy. After I woke up, I found it is quite like the painting Scream so I recorded my dream through illustrating it.
