Design: Pantry Familiar

Went for a little bit of the crafty and simplistic side for this design. The client asked for something simple, friendly, and legible due to it being a church and for them to prompt it to the screen projector at their church. 

Due to the deadline being only two days to do this, I managed to get the copyrights to this image, with a little editing with the lighting around it to make it less vibrant. I used a font called Bakery that I downloaded on Dafont.com. Those with that font are presenting and showing themselves to be the most important with a pinkish orange color to make it feel a little more family-friendly and welcoming. Added the little watercolor splotch I made with the paintbrush tool.

Pretty much arranging it was hard due to space and making sure it was legible, but this is one of my many designs of made so far for this church.

An amateur so far in graphic design, but I this is my first job and it's steady. I'm hoping to improve a little bit more on my skills in college; this is a start.
