Was it just a blood-red sky and his inner anguish that caused the figure's expression in Edvard Munch’s The Scream? Imaging what the figure might see in a toxic dystopian world, this entry provides a reference for his expression. Showing perspectives of both the screamer and the viewer, we can understand the emotional stress caused by such a view. As for the masked man, he may only see a scenic view of the lake from the safety of his rose-colored lenses, while the screamer lives in the terror of his reality.

Before creating the masked figure, I recreated The Scream using Kyle Webster's Edvard Munch brushes. To convey a polluted environment, masked shadowy figures look out on the looming smoke stacks in the distance.
