This was my first time using a wacom tablet and kyle brushes on Photoshop. I recently downloaded kyles megapack after following a link from Stan at the excellent proko.com. Kyle then sent around an email saying there were a few days left in the Adobe contest. I was inspired to try something, downloaded the Munch brushes and got to work. It was fast and loose, but I think it fits with the expressionist theme. I tried to use similar colors and composition and experiment with the brushes. They were very intuitive and felt like using old brushes from my basement studio, except with an infinite paint supply and easy color mixing. I used the Munch set, two pastels brushes, and the smudge eraser. I overlaid the image on board to give it a natural look. It was a lot of fun and a great first experience into digital painting.
