Escape "Meet Semblance and Daylily"

These two nature photos are called DayLilly and Semblance and is shot for my Fine Art Photography class. This photo is taken for the viewer to engage in the shape and and texture of each flower.
Daylily
Semblance
As an artist I love to photograph portraits and flowers. As a child when I needed to express myself, I often sketched people and flowers. During the time I sketched the drawings came out differently depending on my mood. I found interest in photography because of the way photos can carry a viewer mind to think and their ability to express strong emotions without any words.I would often observe the shapes, lines, and textures of flowers and the features, emotions, and movements of people’s expressions. In the portraits I capture I want to show the viewer the different emotions that people convey underneath. In my nature photographs I would like for the viewers to see just beauty of the flower itself. Here at Ivy Tech I have continued to explore what I have been doing since childhood and try to showcase everyday emotions that people feel through my photographs.
