Balanced is a budgeting application aimed at helping immigrants with their finances and becoming more acquainted with their new environment. The on-boarding process offers a simplicity of design that allows users to easily navigate basic questions about their finances. Members of the same household are able to connect their individual accounts to help track household expenditures. 

Users can link to external accounts to help them track spending, saving, and to better understand where their money is going every month. A bill pay option is available, with two paths; either paying bills directly through the app, or setting reminders to help users pay the bills on time themselves. 

The budgeting tool includes a receipt feature that allows users to take a photograph of a receipt, which is then automatically scanned and the total added to their monthly expenditures.
