Beo WindRider

This is a branding Product Design project.
By definition, designing a product for a particular brand implies getting to know that brand very well, understanding its values and then transpose them to the product-to-be. So the challenge was to choose an object that does not belong to the range of products of a particular brand.
Finally, and to test the success of the design, just hide the logo and all graphic mentions to the brand: does the product fit in the brand’s visual language?

My design consists on a Motorcycle Helmet for Bang & Olufsen, and I named it BeoWindRider. I believe the name is self-explanatory, as all B&O’s products have the “Beo” prefix, the name choice becomes clear.
If you’re interested, write me so I can send you the report containing the complete design process for this project.

Designing is always an iterative process: sometimes we find ourselves in dead-ends, and it is mandatory to take steps back to get the best holistic solution. That is why there is always a mix of sketching, research, 3d modelling — I believe they complement and validate each other. In this section you will only find the final models and renders. These follow many others that were of most importance so they could be here.
