My task was to create a series of food packaging designs for children. The client was looking for a fun and exciting range. I approached this by creating interactive collectable packages. I created a series of animal blocks, which can be slotted together and stacked to create different combinations. The shapes are designed to be stacked in either direction, one direction showing a playful illustration of an animal and the other showing the product (which is bright and colorful – I have used nerds to fill my cartons). The designs are bright and designed with unique shapes which will attract the attention of people in this already saturated market. All 5 products work smoothly together, keeping in with a set colour scheme and illustrative style. There is a large scope for further animals to be added, or further packaging to be made for a different range of products.
