That picture belongs to new series of paintings that I am working entitled “Woman and the Earth". This work was born of a research, where I investigated the origin of the patriarchy. Motivated by theorists Simone de Beauvoir and Bosi, in that work the skin of woman portrayed alludes to the divisions of the land seen from above, a parallel about property and History of woman and the fragmentation of the term "Mother Earth". The floating object points to dreams symbolizing resistance face to domination.
