firethemilkman - ethical clothing brand

"If slaughterhouses had glass walls...
Animal exploitation today."
My graduation work at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg:
An ethical clothing brand for the welfare of animals.
Timeless design, sustainable materials and fair production. The corporate philosophy of the fashion label "firethemilkman" focuses on combating the exploitation of animals in today's society. Through the various print motifs, different areas in which animals are mistreated by humans are visualized. The use of exclusively vegan materials as well as the aspect of sustainability were taken into account. The brand name "firethemilkman" is a symbolic request to end animal exploitation. At the end of the 19th century until the late 1980s the daily milk supply was secured by milk delivery services, also called milkmen. Since the dairy supply is now covered by every citizen on their own, the profession of dairy service is almost extinct. The request to fire the milkman is in this case also a direct request to the individual citizen to remove milk products from the shopping list; As a first step toward the end of the animal exploitation. In order to give consumers the opportunity to make a difference by acquiring the T-shirts and bags we offer, some of the income is donated to an animal shelter.
(1) Tanning Industry (2) Dairy Industry (3) Breeding of Defects (4) Overfishing (5) Vivisection
In addition to the T-shirt motifs, these labels provide all the additional essential information. (1) Detachable application made of vegan leather with a short story on the subject (2) Sewn fabric label with logo and brand description (3) Hangtags including the logo, company philosophy and information about the manufacturing process.
The milk bottles used as packaging support the symbolic representation of firing the milkman. The alienation as a clothing packaging breaks the direct connection to food. The bottle avoids packaging waste and can be recycled in various ways. Whether as a drinking bottle, flower vase, piggy bank, biscuit box or candlestick. The imagination knows no limits.
