The 3D house was created mainly to start off honing my skills using the AutoCAD software. I started out with the floor layouts for both the downstairs and upstairs floors before creating the walls by reigioning and extruding them. Once all the walls are complete for the bottom floor then all windows and doors for this floor are added using the subtracting them from one another and then adding said door or window to the newly created opening.The lower floor is given a ceiling and the bottom part of a chimney. Then the same process has been gone through to create all walls for the second floor and windows/doors. Also a roof is created this is helped by moving the UCS point when drawing at an angle or different direction. Finally the top half of the chimney is created and a gutter with drain pipe down the side of the house is also created. And finally go to paint adding brick work to the outside walls, tiles to the roof and plastic for the guttering. And once its all complete it looks like the finished house below. All rooms and doors/windows where measured to scale and added to create the original 2D floor plan that started this all off.
