During second year we were given the chance to choose ANY subject and create a book or a set of posters for our chosen subject. With so many choices I was completely stuck, I decided to look at my surroundings, and being at university my free time was mostly spent socialising. I decided to combine this with my interest in making cocktails and I came up with the idea of "Social Mixology"

After much research into cocktails and cocktail making I decided that social situations are much like cocktails, with many different feelings mixed together, and thus came up with the idea that there is a cocktail for many social situations. The flavours and ingredients and taste of the cocktail reflect the social situation.

Each card is double sided with a transparent acetate centre to show the cocktail ingredients. On one side is the "recipe" for a social situation with the feelings, and the other side has the cocktail name and recipe. This is all attached to a ring to quickly and easily flip through and select a cocktail.
