This website was created for a landscaping company in Elmhurst, IL. 

 

RESEARCH: A  review of the category and close competition revealed that other landscapers were creating sites that were static, intimidating, and void of any human presence or energy. 

 

USERS: After interviewing potential users and working closely with the owner, determined that the brand should differentiate itself significantly. The brand is positioned as friendly and engaging. It embraces the joy of living, playing and entertaining in outdoor 'rooms'. The look and feel of the site is organic, involved and approachable. 

 

SITEMAP and WIREFRAMES: Outlined user stories and interface and created the sitemap. After wireframing, created the graphic interface and visual style. There are many 'hand-drawn' elements, and easy, understandable steps to creating a home landscape.
