I was a student graphic designer for Santa Clara University's Career Center from 2015-2017. The Career Center helps students on their career paths, from organizing career fairs throughout the year to offering a variety of workshops. I collaborated with staff members to brainstorm and execute a variety of designs to target specific audiences, including students of specific majors, years, and interests.

I aimed to create event graphics that were not only fresh and visually appealing, but clearly communicated information. I used combinations of vector art, illustrations, typography, and photography depending on the needs of the project and my creative choices.

This past spring, I created graphics to help advertise the positions the Career Center will be hiring for for Summer/Fall 2017 and onwards. I chose to display each position with equipment and tools that the students will be using on the job, so eligible students would be able to recognize.

In addition to creating graphics, I have created branding guidelines, compiled university and stock photos, and organized Illustrator/Photoshop templates for the incoming student graphic designers.

I also created infographics and other designs promoting Career Center resources. These are primarily displayed on digital screens around campus, so students will see them close-up or far away. I made bold designs with engaging text to ensure readability and to catch student's eyes.

The Career Prep Bootcamps are programs that aim to help students with their job search, usually consisting of four 90-minute workshops for resume building, creating job search strategies, and connecting with industry professionals. Because each Bootcamp is unique, we designed a customizable badges and a static logo to use for each event. When students complete a Bootcamp, they receive a "Completed" badge that they can showcase on their LinkedIn.
