I took the initial rules of chutes and ladders and turned it into more of a learning game. The improved rule is that when a player gets to a chute or ladder they are presented with a scenario and have to decide between two choices to respond naughty or nice. If their response matches the direction they wan to go (nice = ladder, naughty = chute) the player can proceed.The new objective is to clear all the ladders or all the chutes to win.
The game board is similar to the original but with the addition of scenario cards.
Players read the scenario cards and give their response, the appropriate response will allow the player to go along their chute or ladder.
This player has answered her card successfully and is now allowed to go up the ladder.
