Ongo
Organisation: AGS Transact Technologies
Role: Store branding, Packaging, UX, UI
Year: 2014-15
Ongo was created when AGS decided to foray into the transaction domain as an individual player, marking a shift from the supporting role it had hitherto assumed. Ongo offers integrated facilities to enable payments, with services from ATMs to mobile POS to mobile wallet.
At the very heart of ongo is Reliability. Ongo ensures that its reliable ATMs are ready-for-action whenever you are, wherever you are. We understand that your life can be hectic and brings with it its own set of worries, which is why we ensure that we are always available and that we won’t let you down when you need us. We believe that you should feel secure, comfortable and confident when accessing yours.

The ongo brand name and identity was created in partnership with Fitch, Mumbai. Further brand application and extension into app UI were carried out by the AGS internal design team, under my lead.
After creating and defining the brand, work was started on the mobile wallet app.

Ongo mobile app for merchants
Ongo also has a mobile Point of Sale service, which enables people to accept payments anywhere, anytime, even if the customers do not use the Ongo mobile wallet or Ongo cards. For this service an mPOS app was developed for use by merchants. This app is used in conjunction with an EDC machine in accordance with RBI regulations, in order to accept card payments. The kit for this device was created as well.
