Translations, Experimental Design Seminar
For three years, we ran an experimental design seminar challenging students to examine the relationship between analog and digital tools to discover and create visual forms that were only made possible through the heterogeneity of current production techniques.
Forms were created through a process of collection, curation, and oscillating rounds of visual translation between printed and screen-based techniques. Three anthologies of collected visual material were published.
