Herschleb's was a local, family owned ice cream shop in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The business started in 1939. The original ice cream shop was located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids and moved into the store located on 16th Street in 1946. The business survived four generations after it was sold in 2004. Remnants of the old store are still visible today.

I vividly remember at the age of four sneaking out of the house, walking a block down the road, and barely peaking over the counter to order a cone of blue moon ice cream. To this day, I have never had a better ice cream cone than Herschleb's blue moon. The day I heard that the shop was for sale I shed a few tears. Herschleb's is still dear to my heart and I will never forget the memories that were made there. This series of prints is dedicated to the Herschleb's 65 years of service to the community and all the memories they created. Thank You.
